Weekly Newsletter | Sept. 18, 2025
Dear Fair Share Farm CSA Members,
I'll be delivering veggies to Portland Friday afternoon, please let me know if we need to make a different arrangements. Wayne pickup will be ready at the farm Friday or Saturday, please just text me when you're on your way.
We're gearing up for our last deliveries next week. We'll have lots of veggies that you can store for a while including potatoes, beets, garlic, carrots, and more.
Thanks for continuing to put out your boxes, fingers crossed we'll make it through the year without having to order new ones.
Don't forget to mark your calendars for October 11 for Fair Share Farm Work/Celebration Day. Help us move a greenhouse and prep the fields for the winter. Details coming soon, but we're happy to announce it will be a fundraiser for the Maine Immigrant Rights Coalition and we'll be hosting a special guest.
Thanks to all your support, I bought a used tractor this week and thanks to a grant from the Maine Department of Agriculture, Conservation, and Forestry, we've contracted to start drilling a new well in November. It's been a fulfilling, if difficult, season but I'm already looking forward to our upgrades here at the farm for next year.
Please let me know if you have any questions.
All the best!
Todd
PS I snapped a nice picture of one of the culprits who ate all our pumpkins below.
