Yes! Fair Share Farm is proudly Certified Organic by MOFGA (Maine Organic Farmers and Gardeners Association) - one of the oldest organic certifying organizations in the US. We do not use synthetic pesticides or fertilizers; instead, we focus on building healthy soil and using sustainable growing practices that are good for the land and safe for your family.

Since fresh vegetables don't wait, we cannot hold boxes for later weeks. However, we encourage you to have a friend or neighbor pick up your share while you are away—it’s a great way to introduce someone else to local food! If you can’t find anyone to cover for you, just let us know, and we will donate your share to a local food pantry.

No. We operate entirely on the honor system. We trust our members to choose the pricing tier (Community, Core, or Solidarity) that fits their current financial reality. There is no paperwork and no judgment—just good food for everyone.

One of the joys of a CSA is eating in rhythm with the Maine seasons. The contents of your box are determined by what is ripe and ready to harvest that week. While you can't swap individual items, we curate every box to ensure you get a versatile mix of salad greens, cooking staples (like onions and carrots), and seasonal stars (like tomatoes and peppers).

Don't worry—you won't be left guessing! We send out a weekly newsletter that lists what is in the share, along with storage tips and simple recipes. It’s a great opportunity to expand your palate. If you’ve never tried kohlrabi or garlic scapes before, we’ll teach you exactly what to do with them.
