CSA Share with organic produce from fair share farm

Dear Fair Share Farm CSA Members,

Hard to believe we've reached the end of the season. I planted the first tomato seedlings in my cellar way back in February and you get the last of them this week.

I'm happy about the rain today, but it did force me to push back deliveries until Friday afternoon in Portland. Wayne folks, your boxes will be ready by Friday afternoon at the farm.

I'll be sending out details about farm day, but mark your calendars for Saturday, October 11. And I have a favor to ask, if you are raking leaves on your lawn this fall, please save them for me. I'll either pick them up in my truck or you can bring them to the farm when you visit. Fallen leaves are a great way to mulch garden beds to preserve moisture and increase organic matter in the soil.

Please put your boxes out one last time. We'll replace them with new ones next year, but the used boxes are very handy around the farm.

All the best!

Todd
